Beth Garver, MS, SDA – Director of Marketing and Public Relations
As Director of Marketing and Public Relations, Beth is responsible for creating and coordinating all marketing, press related and public relations activities.
Beth comes to Idea Connection Systems from Global Crossing, where as Sr. Segment Manager she led and managed strategic global marketing programs in voice and data telecommunications.
Beth has an extensive background in marketing, sales, project/program consultancy and education. She has worked in marketing, training and held consultant roles with the Rochester School District, Eastman Kodak Company, Xerox Corporation and Nortel Networks. As an entrepreneur, Beth designed and taught an innovative Spanish learning program for pre-schoolers and toddlers in a niche market, and with a partner, she founded Chem-Coat Industries, based in Dallas, Texas.
Beth has recently finished a certificate of advanced studies (CAS) toward a doctorate in school district and business administration and ties the knowledge gained to volunteering and participating in innovation and alternative education think tanks.
Beth also speaks fluent Spanish and has lived in Dallas, Rochester and Cuernavaca, Mexico. For both business and pleasure, she has traveled extensively throughout Asia, North and South America, and Europe. Beth lives in Rochester with her husband, daughter, dog and cat, and enjoys consulting to start up entrepreneurs, traveling, long distance running, music and social activities.
