Victor Hugo Soler Montalvo joins Idea Connection Systems as Director for Training and Development, responsible for knowledge, methodologies and facilitation of Idea Connection Systems solutions in the Brazil market.

Victor has been Director of Phoenix Idea Consultants since 1990, working on change management processes for several companies such as Algar Group, Votorantim Cement, Celulose and Paper, Caixa Econômica Federal, IBGE, Panalpina, Villares Steel, Alba/Borden, Perdigão Foods, OPAS/UN, Petrobras, among others.

He is engaged in a strong technical partnership with Franklin Covey Brazil, delivering top of mind solutions, such as “7 Habits of Highly Effective People”, “The 4 Disciplines of Execution”, “Leadership” and “The Speed of Trust”. As part of this partnership, he has also worked as a professor for Franklin Covey’s Executive MBA, delivering classes on “Strategy and Organization Development”, a Phoenix Idea proprietary content.

Since 2004, Victor has worked to create new solutions with proprietary knowledge on “Safe Behavior” and “Art and Science of True Leadership”. In the 1980’s, he worked as a HR Manager shifting then to consulting and facilitating interventions based on teambuilding, leadership and creativity programs.
Victor holds a Master’s of Science on Positive Organization Development by Case Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Brasília – Brazil. He also holds degrees on behavioral techniques and bio dance, which were granted by the International Biocentric Foundation. Victor is certified as a Creative Problem Solving Facilitator by the Creative Education Foundation, in Buffalo, New York, and as an “Appreciative Inquiry” facilitator with Professor David Copperrider at Case Western Reserve University.

Victor has international experience, having lived on the United States of America, Venezuela, Peru and Brazil. He has grade and high school studies at the American Schools of Rio de Janeiro, Brasília and Caraca. He is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish. He lives in sunny Uberlandia with his wife, Marcia, and daughters, Ayla and Daphne.
